FORNEY, Texas —Six members of the Forney High school soccer team face charges of sexual assault during the initial stages of a hazing investigation by the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office.

At this hour, four juveniles are in custody and being held at the Dallas County Juvenile Detention center where they wait to be arraigned by a Kaufman County judge on Friday.  The judge will hear the charges against the teens, and determine whether they should be returned to their parents, or remain in custody.

One juvenile suspect remains at large, however, law enforcement officials have been in contact with the suspect’s family. The five younger teammates identities cannot be disclosed because they are juveniles.

The sixth student, Jacob Fisher, 18, is currently in custody at the Kaufman County jail awaiting a bond hearing. Fisher will be charged as an adult for sexual assault, a second degree felony.

The arrest warrant affidavit released today, details at least ten instances of forced sodomy involving at least one victim and other players.

Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant, Jolie Stewart, said that the agency is still in the early stages of the investigation and more arrests are possible.

Investigators believe it is possible this behavior and activity goes back for years. Investigators are also trying to determine when and if coaches or athletic department officials were made aware of the hazing and assaults.

Multiple sources have reported that videos of at least one of the incidents circulated throughout the campus late last week.

Forney ISD has not responded to calls or emails for comment but said in a written statement on Wednesday.

“We were made aware of allegations that we took very seriously. As a result, we contacted the Kaufman County Sheriff's Department who launched an investigation. The safety and security of our students is always our number one priority. We have taken measures to heighten our existing supervision procedures. We will continue to work with the Kaufman County Sheriff's Department throughout their investigation," the statement read.
