TERRELL, Texas — The Terrell Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a graffitist who was seen spray painting, or “tagging,” a concrete drainage ditch.

The Terrell Police Department says the man was observed tagging the drainage ditch behind Pop’s Honey Fried Chicken on Saturday, December 12, 2015, around 9:30 a.m.

Police described the graffitist as a Hispanic male in his late teens who wore black pants, a grey undershirt, a black shirt, and white tennis shoes, with black hair and a small patch of hair under his lip. He was carrying a black backpack, where he carried the spray paint, and was riding a fluorescent green bicycle with a blue seat.

“The subject painted “Esmeralda” in cursive, a star with the word “Crip” on top of it, the letter “I” and the letters “Es” in cursive,” stated the department. “They were all done in blue and beige spray paint.”
