FORNEY, Texas — Two of four suspects charged in the death of a Forney man have been indicted on capital murder charges by a Kaufman County grand jury.

Last week, 18-year-old Henre Davis and 18-year-old Deion Young were both indicted for capital murder in the shooting death of George Moss on November 28, 2015.

Moss was found deceased on the front porch of his home in the 3200 block of Clear Springs Drive in the Windmill Farms neighborhood after police received a 911 call for a concern for welfare. Police say he suffered a single gunshot wound to the back of the head.

24-year-old Jarvis Kimble, who is also charged with capital murder, remains jailed in the Dallas County Jail on Dallas County charges of burglary of a habitation and evading arrest. Kimble will not be considered for indictment by a grand jury until he returns to Kaufman County, according to Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Fred Klingelberger.

A juvenile, who was also charged with capital murder in the case, will undergo a certification hearing next month to determine whether or not he will be transferred to adult court and tried as an adult, according to Klingelberger. After the certification hearing, the juvenile’s charge will be presented to a grand jury for consideration.

The suspects had intended to burglarized Moss’ home, which was picked at random, according to an arrest affidavit. Moss was home alone while his wife was Christmas shopping.

Davis and Young remain jailed in the Kaufman County Jail with $1.5 million bonds for capital murder. Kimble remains in the Dallas County Jail with a $1.5 million bond for capital murder and $201,000 in bonds on the burglary and fading charges.
