Crandall ISD assistant principal named 2017 Assistant Principal of the Year by TEPSA

CRANDALL, Texas — A Crandall Independent School District campus assistant principal was named 2017 Assistant Principal of the Year by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA), the district announced on Tuesday.

CRANDALL, Texas — A Crandall Independent School District campus assistant principal was named 2017 Assistant Principal of the Year by the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA), the district announced on Tuesday.

Martin Elementary School Assistant Principal Kimtesha Strange was named 2017 Assistant Principal of the Year.

“Ms. Strange is the true definition of a servant leader,” the district stated. “She never asks anyone to do something that she wouldn't do herself, and she leads by example.”

In October, Strange created the first ever Multi-Cultural Day at Martin Elementary which was widely attended by members of the Crandall community.

“This is a prime example of how well Kimtesha fosters relationships,” stated the district. “Kimtesha’s abilities to lead by example and her compassion for others are a few of the characteristics that made her such an outstanding candidate for this award.”

“We at Crandall ISD are incredibly proud of Kimtesha, her hard work and the legacy she is creating in Crandall,” the district stated. “She truly embodies our core values of Character, Compassion and Community.”
