FORNEY, Texas — An 18-wheeler tractor was destroyed in a fire on Friday afternoon.
The Forney Fire Department responded to Town and Country Mini Storage in the 500 block of Pinson Road around 5:10 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find the tractor’s engine bay fully engulfed in flames.
The 18-wheeler was unoccupied and no injuries were reported.
A witness told inForney.com the driver had parked the tractor and trailer in the storage lot approximately 45 minutes before the fire was reported.
