FORNEY, Texas — An 18-wheeler hauling dirt overturned on the north frontage road of U.S. Highway 80 on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident was reported just before 4 p.m. on the frontage road west of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460. The 18-wheeler was hauling dirt which spilled into the ditch north of the frontage road.
The driver was seen exiting the tractor after the accident. The driver’s condition is not yet known. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
A heavy-duty wrecker and crew is currently on scene. The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, an East Texas Medical Center ambulance, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the accident.
