FORNEY, Texas — An 18-wheeler lost its load on westbound U.S. Highway 80 near the County Road 212/217 exit which forced a closure of the highway.
The incident was reported before 10 a.m. The 18-wheeler lost its load and was struck by another vehicle. All westbound traffic is being diverted onto the service road at County Road 212/217.
A wrecker and heavy-duty wrecker with a crane aided in the cleanup efforts.
The westbound lanes reopened at 11:07 a.m., however, the 18-wheeler and the heavy-duty wrecker remained on the shoulder to reload the trailer.
No injuries were reported after the vehicle struck the debris.
