KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — 41 properties from Kaufman, Henderson, and Van Zandt Counties are scheduled to hit the auction block tomorrow, Thursday, November 13, 2014, at a tax resale auction in Kemp, Texas.
The auction is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Kemp High School which is located at 220 State Highway 274 in Kemp, Texas.
The auction boasts properties with opening bids ranging from $245 to $27,000 and appraised values ranging $980 to $108,000. The properties are listed by the school district they are located in.
In Mabank Independent School District(ISD), there are 24 properties in Henderson County, five in Kaufman County, and two in Van Zandt County.
In Kemp ISD, there are four properties in Henderson County and three properties in Kaufman County.
Some of the properties listed have been off their respective county’s tax rolls since 1996, according to the property list.
