TERRELL, Texas — “Weather permitting, north and southbound FM 148 between Spur 557 and eastbound I-20 will be closed at various times from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 14, 2015, for traffic signal installation,” according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

“The entire roadway will not be closed at any one time,” stated TxDOT spokesperson Michelle Releford. “The shoulders will also be closed at various times between installations.”
“Delays may occur and motorists are encouraged to seek different routes around this area. TxDOT urges motorists to be mindful of construction workers in the work zone,” stated Releford.
