FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 near the Dallas-Kaufman County line is experiencing major traffic delays Wednesday afternoon due to bridge and guardrail repairs.
Texas Department of Transportation crews are repairing the guardrail and bridge on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460. The right lane of traffic is closed. Delays are well into Dallas County as of 4:16 p.m.
The crews were repairing the metal guardrail and doing concrete work to the side of the bridge which was damaged in a number of accidents.
