The project will be completed at night to minimize the impact on drivers. The project consists of a 2-inch mill and overlay of Broad Street from FM 548 to FM 460 — approximately 2.3 miles.
TxDOT expects to complete the project in early September, according to the City of Forney.
The approximately $830,000 contract was awarded to Austin Bridge & Road Services, LP, according to TxDOT’s website.
