FORNEY, Texas — The City of Forney will begin to two separate water and sewer line replacement projects in November, according to a notification from the city.
On November 7, 2015, contractors with the City of Forney will begin work on the South Bois D’Arc sewer line replacement project between Church Street and College Street. “While most work will be conducted in the right-of-way, some lane closures may be necessary from time to time,” the notice stated.
On November 16, 2015, contractors will being work on the Lovers Lane water line upgrade project along Lovers Lane. This project is anticipated to take 180 days to complete. “Just like the S. Bois D'Arc project, most of the construction will be conducted in the right-of-way, some lane closures may be necessary from time-to-time,” stated the notice.
