There is a wind advisory for counties to the northwest of Kaufman County. Winds overnight and tomorrow will be between 10 and 20 miles per hour with gusts as high as 25 miles per hour.
Tuesday night, the National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning. An arctic front is expected to bring temperatures to Kaufman County in the low 30s Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
A Freeze Watch means temperatures are expected to be sub-freezing. The National Weather Service warns to protect sensitive plants and outdoor animals.
