KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — A cold front moving through North Texas on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, is expected to bring widespread rainfall and some isolated thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas.
According to NWS forecasts, the rain is anticipated to enter Kaufman County between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. No severe weather is expected at this time however locally heavy rainfall may cause minor flooding with rainfall totals expected between one and three inches.
“Rain will spread south through the day along the cold front and persist into late Tuesday night,” according to the NWS. “Areas south of a Comanche to Canton line may see some rain linger into Wednesday.”
Heaviest rainfall is expected to be south of Kaufman County.
