KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The College Mound Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) and Kaufman Fire Department are currently battling a structure fire in eastern Kaufman County.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The College Mound Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) and Kaufman Fire Department are currently battling a structure fire in eastern Kaufman County.
The fire was reported at approximately noon on County Road 109A in eastern Kaufman County.
The College Mound VFD initially received the call and requested mutual aid from the Kaufman Fire Department.
Fire officials report the residence is on fire and threatening a travel trailer and several vehicles.
All of the residence were reportedly evacuated.
A CareFlite ambulance has been requested for standby. The Kaufman County Fire Marshal’s Office has also responded.
