FORNEY, Texas — Leigh Corson, the City of Forney’s Director of Administrative Services, was named interim assistant city manager — filling Gina Nash’s seat after her departure to serve as the city manager for the City of Sachse.
FORNEY, Texas — Leigh Corson, the City of Forney’s Director of Administrative Services, was named interim assistant city manager — filling Gina Nash’s seat after her departure to serve as the city manager for the City of Sachse.
Corson, who has worked for the City of Forney for approximately nine years, is expected to hold the position through the summer and budget process, City Manager Brian Brooks announced at the June 16, 2015, Forney City Council meeting.
Assistant Finance Director Deborah Woodham will serve as the interim finance director, according to Brooks.
