CRANDALL, Texas — The Crandall Fire Department presented a check for more than $5,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) during their Fill the Boot campaign.
CRANDALL, Texas — The Crandall Fire Department presented a check for more than $5,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) during their Fill the Boot campaign.
The Crandall Fire Department had set a goal to raise $5,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and, through its efforts with their Fill the Boot campaign, raised $5,236.
“A big Thank You to the citizens of Crandall and surrounding area,” the department announced on Facebook. “You once again showed our small community supports our MDA efforts.”
MDA is a non-profit organization which sponsors research seeking the causes of and effective treatments for neuromuscular diseases,” according to its website. “MDA research grants currently are supporting more than 250 projects worldwide.”
