FORNEY, Texas — Pothole repair on westbound U.S. Highway 80 near Lawson Road has traffic backed up into Forney near Farm-to-Market (FM) 740/Pinson Road on Monday, March 30, 2015.
A contractor for the Texas Department of Transportation has been repairing the potholes along the stretch of the highway from Forney to Sunnyvale for several days. Because this is a maintenance contract, the Texas Department of Transportation is unable to provide a timeline for the repairs.
Earlier this month, the same crews were repairing potholes in the right lane of the highway. The crews have transitioned to repair potholes in the left lane.
Expect delays throughout the afternoon.
