FORNEY, Texas — One person was arrested following a Thursday morning rollover accident on U.S. Highway 80.
Just after 1:30 a.m., a single vehicle was reported overturned on the eastbound U.S. Highway 80 exit ramp to Farm-to-Market (FM) 460. The vehicle had overturned and came to a rest on its roof.
The male driver of the vehicle was arrested following a filed sobriety test. The passenger of the vehicle was checked by EMS on scene and ultimately refused transport to a hospital.
A wrecker uprighted the vehicle and towed it from the scene. The FM 460 exit ramp was closed while emergency personnel were on scene.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and an East Texas Medical Center ambulance responded to the accident.
