Eastbound Interstate 20 reopened following multi-vehicle crash, one airlifted

TERRELL, Texas — Eastbound Interstate 20 at Wilson Road has reopened following a multi-vehicle crash which resulted in one person being airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital.

TERRELL, Texas — Eastbound Interstate 20 at Wilson Road has reopened following a multi-vehicle crash which resulted in one person being airlifted to a Dallas-area hospital.

The crash was reported around 5:30 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 20 just before the Wilson Road overpass — also known as County Road 138 and County Road 309 — near mile marker 503.

The highway has been closed to allow a CareFlite medical helicopter to land on the highway. All traffic is being diverted off the highway at exit 503.

Police have called wreckers for at least two vehicles at this time.
