FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80 is closed Saturday night due to a fiery crash at the Dallas-Kaufman County line.
Just before 10:30 p.m., the crash was reported on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 near Lawson Road with one vehicle reportedly overturned and engulfed in flames.
Eastbound 80 was closed at the Lawson Road exit where drivers were diverted onto the south service road and back on the highway just prior to the East Fork Trinity River.
One lane westbound is also reportedly closed.
There are no word on injuries at this time.
The Dallas County Sheriff's Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Forney Fire Department, and the Sunnyvale Fire Department responded to the crash.
