FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80, just east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460, reopened following a single-vehicle accident saturday night.
FORNEY, Texas — Eastbound U.S. Highway 80, just east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460, reopened following a single-vehicle accident saturday night.
The accident occurred just before 9: 20 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015. The vehicle struck a guardrail and came to a rest sideways across both eastbound lanes — resulting in U.S. Highway 80 being closed.
The Forney Fire Department, Forney Police Department, and an East Texas Medical Center ambulance respond to the accident. No injuries were reported and the ambulance was disregarded.
A wrecker removed the vehicle and the female driver was taken into custody.
