KAUFMAN, Texas — A female student will be disciplined according to school policy after the latest bomb threat at Kaufman Independent School District's (ISD) O. P. Norman Junior High School, according to district officials.

The student, whose name was not released due to her age, was linked to the third bomb threat this school year at the campus.

"The perpetrator of this morning's threat has been identified as a female student," Kaufman ISD Superintendent Lori Blaylock told inForney.com. "The student will be disciplined according to district policy and procedures."

As for the bomb threats earlier this month and in October of last year, Blaylock says the Kaufman ISD Police Department believes they were also perpetrated by students who are unknown at this time.

The Kaufman ISD Police Department continues to investigate the earlier threats.
