Final plats approved for several new residential phases totaling 352 lots

FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Planning and Zoning Commission approved several final plats for residential development in their regularly scheduled meeting on August 6, 2015.

FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Planning and Zoning Commission approved several final plats for residential development in their regularly scheduled meeting on August 6, 2015.

In total, the plats represent 96.84 acres of new residential development on a proposed 352 lots.

The commission first approved the final plat for Windmill Farms, Phase 5A which consists 148 lots on 32.823 acres. The phase is located on Windmill Farms Boulevard north of the ongoing Phase 5B development across from Brown Middle School.

The final plat for Fox Hollow, Phase 2, which is the fourth and final phase of development in the Fox Hollow subdivision, was approved and consists of 113 lots on 37.332 acres. The new phase is located in between Fox Hollow Boulevard, Rogers Parkway, and Monitor Boulevard.

The final plat for Park Trails was also approved and consists of 91 lots on 26.685 acres. The new phase will be north of the current Phase 1 construction which consists of 75 lots.

The commission also approved final plats for amenity centers in the yet-to-be-built Vintage Meadows and Gateway Parks developments located at Farm-to-Market (FM) 741 and Interstate 20 and in between County Road 212 and FM 1641, respectively.
