FORNEY, Texas (City of Forney) — After more than a year of planning and community engagement, City of Forney residents will have a final opportunity to address the proposed "Imagine Forney" comprehensive plan during the January 5 City Council meeting.
The public hearing will offer residents a final opportunity to provide input on the comprehensive plan.
"Throughout the information-gathering process concerning the "Imagine Forney" comprehensive plan, we've heard from hundreds of residents, through social media, telephone calls, other public hearings and at City sponsored events," said City of Forney Director of Community Development, Peter Morgan. "We hope that conducting this public hearing will give residents an opportunity to ask that one question, or voice that one concern, that they may still have regarding the project."
Residents can view the entire "Imagine Forney" comprehensive plan document on the City's website at, www.cityofforney.org/ImagineForney. The January 5 City Council meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 101 E. Main St.
