FORNEY, Texas β€” Flags began flying at half-staff Tuesday morning in the City of Forney in honor of five U.S. service members killed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on Thursday, July 16, 2015.

The service members who were killed were identified as Petty Officer 2nd Class Randall Smith, Staff Sergeant. David Wyatt, Sergeant Carson Holmquist, Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Sullivan, and Lance Corporal Squire Wells.

β€œThe flags will remain at half-staff throughout the week,” stated the City of Forney.
