CRANDALL, Texas — Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 is closed approximately two miles north of Crandall due to a rollover crash with entrapment.

CRANDALL, Texas — Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 is closed approximately two miles north of Crandall due to a rollover crash with entrapment.

The crash was reported at approximately 12:35 p.m. on FM 148 approximately two miles north of Crandall, Texas. A truck overturned, went off the roadway and into a ditch, and entrapped its driver.

Emergency personnel closed FM 148 to land a CareFlite medical helicopter on the road. Southbound FM 148 was reopened at approximately 1:26 p.m. and northbound remained closed while a wrecker worked to remove the truck from the ditch.

One person was transported to a Dallas-area hospital via a CareFlite medical helicopter.

The Crandall Fire Department, Crandall Police Department, Kaufman County Sheriff's Office, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene.
