KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Weather permitting, Farm-to-Market (FM) 3039, between Crandall, Texas, and Combine, Texas, will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, to begin roadway rehabilitation, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

Temporary traffic signals will be installed along FM 3039 between FM 1389 and FM 148, approximately 4.1 miles, beginning Wednesday to direct traffic through this particular section of roadway one direction at a time.

“Motorists in driveways within the signalized zone will not be directed by signals. The signals will be set within site distance of the driveways so motorists will be able to see the direction of traffic flow and know when to pull out into the proper direction of traffic,” states a TxDOT release.

The signals will be in effect for the duration of the project which is expected to be complete in May 2016.
