FORNEY, Texas — Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 reopened following a two-vehicle crash on Monday night.

The crash was reported at 5:45 p.m. on FM 548 between Highspire Drive and Gateway Boulevard. FM 548 was closed following the crash and later reopened at 6:15 p.m.

A sedan appeared to have rear-ended an SUV, causing it to cross over the road and into the northbound shoulder.

The Forney Police Department, Forney Fire Department, and a CareFlite ambulance responded to the scene. Two people were transported to area hospitals.
