FORNEY, Texas — 234 Forney Lions Club Angels from 104 Forney families are ready for adoption, according to Lion Don Orman.
The 2014 Forney Lions Club Angel Tree will be located in front of the Xeric Garden at the Forney sub-Courthouse during Christmas on Main which is from 12:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on December 6, 2014, in downtown Forney.
“The need for help is great this year,” said Orman. “If you would like to adopt one or more Angels, please come to the Forney Lions’ Angel Tree.”
The 234 Angels live within the Forney Independent School District boundaries.
The Forney Leo Club will also be conducting a toy drive. If you would like to contribute to this project, please bring new, unwrapped toys to the angel tree or drop them off at Madres’ Cocina at 425 Pinson Road in Forney, Texas, until December 18, 2014.
