FORNEY, Texas – The September 4, 2014, death of a Forney man was likely accidental, Forney Police Department investigators said today in a statement.
42-year-old Jack Fox was discovered in his backyard in the 100 block of Villanova Circle on Thursday, September 4, 2014, by his wife at approximately 6:30 p.m. Fox wasn't breathing at the time of his discovery.
“This incident, believed at this time to be an unfortunate accident, is still under investigation,” stated Forney Police Department Detective Michael Clay. Investigators are still awaiting the results of a final autopsy report and toxicology report from the Medical Examiner's Office.
The Forney Police Department, as well as a Texas Ranger with the Texas Department of Public Safety, are continuing to investigate the death.
