FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department located a missing child approximately an hour after he was reported missing from Woodcrest Way Thursday afternoon.
FORNEY, Texas — The Forney Police Department located a missing child approximately an hour after he was reported missing from Woodcrest Way Thursday afternoon.
The 9-year-old boy, Tommy, was reported missing in the 500 block of Woodcrest Way and was last seen wearing a white polo shirt, khaki pants, and was possibly riding his bicycles. The boy and his family had recently moved to Forney from another state and the family was concerned he may have gotten lost while riding his bicycle.
Police initially searched the area of Woodcrest Way and the Southlake Estates Addition before contacting the Forney Fire Department for assistance.
Tommy was located around 4:30 p.m. approximately .4 miles from his home at a friend’s house on Alpine Street by Forney Police Officer Mike Byford.
