KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Freeze Warning for Kaufman County for November 13, 2014, from midnight until 9 a.m. and warned of possible light showers containing sleet.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Freeze Warning for Kaufman County for November 13, 2014, from midnight until 9 a.m. and warned of possible light showers containing sleet.
The NWS forecasts temperatures to fall between 30 and 32 degrees tonight and tomorrow morning. Light showers overnight may also contain sleet but accumulations or impacts are not expected.
There is a slight chance of snow on Sunday night over North Texas, according to the NWS, however, “It is too early to determine whether this system will be strong enough to result in accumulating snow.”
The National Weather Service warns to protect sensitive plants and outdoor animals as well as turning off automatic sprinkler systems to avoid ice accumulation on roadways.
