HEATH, Texas — Two Amy Parks Elementary students had an Hour with a Heath Hero in May.
The students, Preston Lucas and Will Ragland, were winners of an Hour with a Heath Hero package offered during a recent Parent-Teacher Organization silent auction.
With approval from Heath Department of Public Safety (DPS) Chief Terry Garrett, School Resource Officer Dee Bruit and Officer Brandon Seery organized the event for Lucas and Ragland who were able to ride in the fire truck, tour the DPS headquarters, and eat lunch with the police, firefighters, and EMT officers at the station.
