KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Isolated thunderstorms, rain, and drizzle are possible tonight and into tomorrow morning with a rain and possible snow flurry mix late Sunday afternoon in Kaufman County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — Isolated thunderstorms, rain, and drizzle are possible tonight and into tomorrow morning with a rain and possible snow flurry mix late Sunday afternoon in Kaufman County, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas.
Tonight, the NWS forecast a 20-percent chance of isolated showers, cloudy, with a low around 39, and winds between five and 10 miles per hour. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in eastern Kaufman County.
There is a 30-percent chance of rain Sunday morning. Temperatures will fall to around 35 degrees by 5 p.m. behind a surge of arctic air which will bring a chance of light precipitation.
Some snow is possible late Sunday afternoon or early evening and could be accompanied by rain. Accumulations of less than one-half inch are possible on grassy or elevated areas, according to the NWS. The lower eastern portion of Kaufman County should not expect any accumulations.
Lows Sunday night are expected around 27 degrees with winds between 10 and 20 miles per hour with gusts as high as 25 miles per hour.
