KAUFMAN, Texas — Kaufman County has broke ground on its new Animal Adoption Center.

KAUFMAN, Texas — Kaufman County has broke ground on its new Animal Adoption Center.

County officials held a groundbreaking ceremony on March 23, 2021.

The facility will be 12,560-square feet and will have space for 66 dogs and 58 cats, according to Kaufman County, with additional room for expansion.

The adoption center is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of 2022.
