The Terrell Volunteer Fire Department was first dispatched to the home on County Road 279 at 11:25 a.m., according to Kaufman County Fire Marshal Randy Richards. The Kaufman Fire Department and the College Mound Volunteer Fire Department responded as mutual aid.
