KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Tornado Watch and a Flash Flood Watch for most of North Texas, including Kaufman County, into tonight and tomorrow morning, respectively.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Tornado Watch and a Flash Flood Watch for most of North Texas, including Kaufman County, into tonight and tomorrow morning, respectively.
The Tornado Watch, issued at 10:15 a.m., will remain in effect until 9:30 p.m. at which time the National Weather Service will reevaluate the threat.
The Flash Flood Watch will remain in effect through 7 a.m. Monday morning.
“The ground is saturated from rainfall over the past several days. Additional heavy rain is possible with thunderstorms through tonight that may result in additional Flash Flooding,” stated the National Weather Service. “Some areas may receive additional rain amounts of 3 inches or more through tonight.”
