KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fort Worth, Texas, issued a Tornado Watch for Kaufman County until 4 a.m. Sunday.
The Tornado Watch was issued at 10 p.m. Saturday and will remain in effect until 4 a.m. Sunday.
Scattered and numerous showers and thunderstorms will continue to move across north and central Texas overnight and into the early morning hours, according to the NWS. "Some storms will produce heavy rain which may result in flash flooding."
A few storms may produce damaging winds. An isolated tornado or two will also be possible across north Texas.
