KAUFMAN, Texas — O.P. Norman Jr. High School was given the “all clear” this morning after the campus received its third bomb threat of the year early Thursday morning.
KAUFMAN, Texas — O.P. Norman Jr. High School was given the “all clear” this morning after the campus received its third bomb threat of the year early Thursday morning.
The threat forced the evacuation of the school around 9 a.m. and students were taken to the neighboring Kaufman High School cafeteria while authorities searched the campus.
A little under an hour later, students were returned to campus and resumed their normal class schedules after authorities gave the “all clear”.
O.P. Norman was evacuated on February 3, 2015, and in October 2014, after the school received other bomb threats. In both instances, like today, the school was given the “all clear” and students returned to class.
The Kaufman Independent School District Police Department is investigating each threat.
