TERRELL, Texas — Weather permitting, the Texas Department of Transportation will alternate lane closures on Spur 557 later this week for road construction.
Various lanes, one at a time, will be closed on Spur 557 between Los Lomas Parkway and Farm-to-Market (FM) 148 from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, and Friday, March 27, 2015.
“The closures are necessary to mill and overlay the pavement,” according to Texas Department of Transportation representative Michelle Releford.
The Texas Department of Transportation is encouraging drivers to seek alternate routes due to the possibility of traffic congestion.
