KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — One person was flown to an area hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 2728 in eastern Kaufman County on Tuesday night.
KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — One person was flown to an area hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash on Farm-to-Market (FM) 2728 in eastern Kaufman County on Tuesday night.
The College Mound Volunteer Fire Department, Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, CareFlite, and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the crash which occurred at approximately 7:40 p.m.
The person, described as a middle-aged man, was partially ejected from his SUV after it overturned on FM 2728 near Abner Road. He was later flown by a CareFlite medical helicopter to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas, with serious injuries.
FM 2728 was closed while firefighters established a landing zone for the helicopter and to allow a wrecker to tow the SUV. The road is expected to open by approximately 9 p.m.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
