FORNEY, Texas — Several accidents are slowing traffic in both directions on U.S. Highway 80 near the Dallas-Kaufman County line Wednesday afternoon.
FORNEY, Texas — Several accidents are slowing traffic in both directions on U.S. Highway 80 near the Dallas-Kaufman County line Wednesday afternoon.
Initially, just before 4 p.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to a rollover accident involving a pickup truck with a utility bed on westbound U.S. Highway 80 just west of the East Fork Trinity River. The truck overturned and came to a rest on its roof on the north shoulder of the highway. No injuries were reported in this accident.
Two other minor accidents were reported on westbound U.S. Highway 80 in the same location as the overturned truck. Again, no injuries were reported.
As of 4:15 p.m., traffic on westbound U.S. Highway 80 is backed up to Liberty Hill and traffic on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 is beginning to back up to Lawson Road due to onlooker delays.
