FORNEY, Texas — No injuries were reported after an 18-wheeler and car collided on Interstate 20 — wedging the front of the car underneath the 18-wheeler’s end-dump trailer.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:30 p.m. on westbound Interstate 20 just west of High Country Lane. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
The Forney Fire Department responded as mutual aid to the Mesquite Fire Department because the crash was in the Mesquite Fire Department’s fire district. The right lane was temporarily closed while emergency personnel were on scene.
