SUNNYVALE, Texas – The Dallas County Sheriff's Office responded to an overturned FedEx 18-wheeler early Saturday morning.
The accident occurred at approximately 5:15 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014, on southbound Collins Road/State Highway (SH) 352 just south of U.S. Highway 80. Authorities said the driver was turning from the eastbound U.S. Highway service road onto southbound Collins Road when he lost control and overturned the 18-wheeler.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was out of his tractor when deputies arrived and no injuries were reported.
The Sunnyvale Fire Department responded to assist with a minor fuel leak and cleared the accident scene at approximately 7:30 a.m.
