KAUFMAN COUNTY, Texas — No injuries were reported after a pizza delivery driver crashed into a ditch on Monday night, November 10, 2014, just after 7 p.m.
The accident happened at a 90-degree turn on Country Road (CR) 221, which is north of Forney, Texas. The car drove into a large, treed drainage ditch on the north side of the turn.
The vehicle came to a rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle inside the ditch. Two wreckers worked to remove the vehicle from the ditch.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The Forney Fire Department, an East Texas Medical Center ambulance, the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office, and a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper responded to the accident.
