FORNEY, Texas — No injuries were reported after a driver struck a bridge guardrail on U.S. Highway 80 on Thursday afternoon, October 30, 2014.
The accident occurred just before 3 p.m. on eastbound U.S. Highway 80 east of Farm-to-Market (FM) 460 and forced the closure of the highway’s eastbound onramp at FM 460. None of the highway lanes were closed.
Although minor injuries were originally reported, an East Texas Medical Center ambulance was disregarded. The vehicle was towed from the accident scene.
On-looker delays were present in the area while emergency personnel were on scene.
The Forney Fire Department and Forney Police Department responded to the accident.
