ELMO, Texas – No injuries were reported after a man overturned his truck on County Road (CR) 313 in Elmo, Texas, earlier today.
The accident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on CR 313 near CR 317. The truck overturned and came to a rest on its roof – the bed of the truck detached from the frame during the accident.
An East Texas Medical Center ambulance checked en route but was disregarded after the man refused treatment for minor scrapes. The Elmo Volunteer Fire Department responded to the accident which was just a short distance from their station on Farm-to-Market 2728.
The Texas Department of Public Safety remained on scene for an accident investigation.
