FORNEY, Texas — No injuries were reported after a vehicle had a tire malfunction and overturned on Farm-to-Market (FM) 148, according to police.

FORNEY, Texas — No injuries were reported after a vehicle had a tire malfunction and overturned on Farm-to-Market (FM) 148, according to police.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., the Crandall Fire Department was dispatched to the wreck on FM 148 near County Road 261, in between Crandall and Forney.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the SUV was traveling northbound on FM 148 when it experienced a tire malfunction which caused it top veer off the road, overturn, and strike a fence.

The driver was uninjured and able to self-extricate, according to firefighters.
