FORNEY, Texas – No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on Farm-to-Market (FM) 548 Sunday afternoon, September 21, 2014.
The accident occurred at 6:13 p.m. in the intersection of FM 548 and the north service road of U.S. Highway 80 – both vehicles stopped in the southbound lanes of FM 548 and prevented westbound traffic on the service road from continuing through the intersection. FM 548 southbound and service road u-turn drivers could still enter and travel westbound on the service road.
An arriving East Texas Medical Center ambulance was disregarded by first responders on scene.
One vehicle, a Jeep, was towed from the scene. The accident was cleared by the Forney Fire Department and the Forney Police Department at 6:30 p.m.
